spend some extra money on your investment and get the extra battery. the battery life is great on the camera, I took close to 300 or so before needing to charge the battery, adn the a two hr charge time is great too. Very convientent to have a spare battery to keep the pics rollen along

This camera is much bigger than it looks on the website. The touchscreen has some nice features. The shutter hesitates for several seconds between pictures so you may miss the perfect shot waiting for the camera to be ready for the next shot. That is the most disappointing feature. I could put up with most of the other inconveniences of the camera. I think for the money, you would be better off buying a smaller, easier to use Canon or Kodak. In fact I bought a Canon yesterday.
