I bought this frame for my mom. I put all the photos on before I gave it to her as she’s not very techy. The software is so easy. All I had to do was select the photos I wanted and drag-and-drop them onto the frame. I love that it has an auto-on and off timer. The only thing missing is I wish the photos could display in random order instead of only A-Z by file name. Overall, I am very happy.

Frame quality is beautiful, very rich looking. Picture quality is very impressive. I gave this to my Mother-in-Law for Christmas. I loaded it with pictures first. It was a great hit! We have not explored all of the possible features yet. I am extremely satisfied with this purchase!
5 Stars A Good Buy!
This was a great Mother’s Day gift choice for my elderly mom! Was looking for a more traditional frame and this one is very pretty. I just created a folder of pictures on my MacBook, dragged and dropped into the frame. Works like an external hard drive. Very Easy! The speed of the slideshow is adjustable (great for older people), music can be added, etc. She loved it and my sisters (who had all donated family pictures to the project) agreed.
One has already ordered for her husband’s business office for Father’s Day.
This is the only pretty - not contemporary - frame I could find and it was a good buy. I highly recommend.
1 Stars Complete Piece of Garbage
Though Aluratek is an unknown Chinese company I bought this frame because I wanted one with a large format and an attractive frame. Should have known better. Warranty is ONLY 90 days and 2 days after the warranty expired the frame stopped working - went completely dead. You will read other reviews where others had the EXACT SAME THING HAPPEN. $180 up in smoke! When I read the fine print I saw they said you can only have this turned on 8 HOURS A DAY! That is ridiculous and this is the only frame I have seen on the market with such a stipulation. I will bet that those giving this a good review are back in a few weeks raising h*ll because their frame stopped working and they are screwed too. Do yourself a HUGE favor and buy a BRAND NAME frame. Wish I could have given this a Zero but Amazon starts at 1 star. Avoid Aluratek like the plague. I know I will from now on.
4 Stars This is a beautiful and qualified DPF
Before bought this digital picture frame we’ve shopped around in many local electronic stores, but no frame catched our eyes until we saw this on Amazon’ web site. It looks rich/luxury with its beautiful wooden frame and decoration. It worked right away after jumped out of the box. I loaded all our favorite family pix & music on 2G SD card then enjoyed the slideshow of clear/vibrant pix and nice sound (the best w/ instrument music). The remote control is just ok and having a size of credit card. Its frequency range is small, so I think it works within 1->1.5 feet by pointing it to the frame directly. The drawback is NO resume option (you have to watch your pix from the beginning once you turn the frame on). Otherwise, I’ll give it 5 stars. I don’t have a chance to test its video function. Well packing and fast shipping. So, don’t hesitate, go for it.
