1 Stars Should have been coloredyellow…I got a Lemon.
My camera came in time for Christmas and was the worst piece of equipment I have ever recieved. It would only take and store two pics…quality bad…,it would not save backups to the disk and the fully charged battery kept running out after 5 minutes. It seems I got the only lemon of these; I’ve sent it back to amazon for my refund and will buy another camera at a reputable dealer.

4 Stars perfect entry level camera
My 7-year old daughter was given this camera for Christmas. She does not always handle it carefully. She is not a skilled photographer, however when she took this camera to Japan last summer her photos turned out beautifully! We are pleased with the durability of the camera, the ease of use it offers and the price. Only downside–AA batteries needed, but with rechargeables, not really a problem.

4 Stars Takes some time to figure out what mode to use for lighting
This camera is pretty good overall. The batteries that came with it died after taking just a few pictures. We put new, name-brand batteries in so hopefully we won’t see the same results, if so that really sucks. It is pretty intuitive to use, we didn’t have to read the directions. I think it’s going to take a while to figure out exactly what setting to use for each situation. I took a bunch of pictures of fireworks on New-Years without realizing there was a “Fireworks” mode. Overall it’s a pretty good camera, nice and compact, turns on quickly and really takes great outdoor-daytime pictures.

2 Stars Kodak EasyShare C180 review
the picture quality is poor sometimes. Some pictures turn out great and then some have been very poor. I wouldn’t recommend this camera, spend a little more and get a better quality camera.

1 Stars Out of the box bad
I bought a Kodak Easyshare C180 camera as a Christmas gift for my granddaughter and was “out of the box bad”. She took the camera home, disposed of the box since it was a Kodak and supposibly reliable. Put the Kodak batteries in it that came with the camera, took about three pictures and the batteries were bad. The camera would not close until the batteries were replaced. Took a few more pictures and the new batteries were bad. Tried this a few more times in denial that a brand new Kodak camera would be bad.

Contacted the seller and because she disposed of the box, the camera could not be returned to them. Contacted Kodak and was instructed to send the camera to a repair center in Conneticut and it could be repaired or be replaced with a refurbished one. So I am paying to return the camera and maybe getting a refurbished one as a replacement for a brand new camera, used one or two times.

I will be reluctant to buy another Kodak product or use the seller as I am not sure if the item I purchased was really new or if Kodak isn’t the company it used to be.
