5 Stars PlatronicsKX-TCA60
I bought this head set because the reviews were favorable and the price was right. I think the headset is a little tight, however, it may loosen with wear. I find the earpiece comfortable. I use a headset because I work from home and need to speak on the phone while typing. I don’t have a mute button on my phone and would have liked to have one on my head-set. However, my last head set from platronics was 2ce as much as this one, had a mute button, but only lasted about a year and I only used it a couple of hours a day, if that. So I’m hoping this set will last longer…we’ll see… I’ve been using it about a month now and people say that they can hear me and I seem to be able to hear them well.
5 Stars Love this headset! Great Voice quality for other caller!
I use this headset with my new blackberry and panasonic phones…yes I own 2 of these headsets. The quality is so good I tried it on my new blackberry and it is just awesome (I hate the bluetooth devices..you can’t hear that well). The other callers (and wife) say I sound crystal clear and loud. I had to purchase an adapter for my blackberry since the size is bigger. It was like $5 on ebay. Just make sure you get an adapter that is good for voice out too. Some are not.
4 Stars Decent headset
Pretty good headset for $10, but if you’ve got this wrapped around your head for 5+ hrs, I’d recommend something else.
4 Stars Good headset for the price
I have purchased two of these headsets in the past 2 years. It is a good product for the price. There is no volume adjust or other features but I don’t really think they are necessary The only real downside is that it isn’t that durable. If you are dependent on it you may want to order a backup because they usually break with normal-heavy use in about 6 months to 1 year. This time I found that the earpiece isn’t working, I can’t hear the caller but they can hear me. I read that this can happen from moving the microphone around which causes the wires inside to bend and eventually disconnect.
For the price I think it works well when it does work… how long can you expect a ten dollar headset to last?? I can hear the caller and they can hear me. It is pretty comfortable to wear and I love that it gives me the ability to do a lot of things while I am talking. I currently ordered a different brand to see how it compares to the panasonic. I may be coming back to purchase a third headset.
2 Stars quality low
Have bought many Panasonic products in past but New Panasonic is focussing on low price rather than high quality
Bought four headphones and after few months wire connections to head set breaking and initial indication is crackling noise
Will not buy Panasonic products until they go back to high quality
Will pay more for high quality and will chose other brands
