i bought this because i got tired of taking the SD card out of the camera every time i was finished
taking pictures. i was a little skeptical about how well it would really work but i gotta say i’m
impressed. i use a Mac and the software install was a breeze, if you are in range of your wireless
network every picture you take is individually sent to the computer within 3-5 seconds. if you are
away from your wireless network simply power on the camera when you get home and all the pics
are uploaded instantly.
as soon as i open iphoto it instantly imports all the photos and they are ready to view. this definitely
makes my picture taking much easier !!!

I love this product! My puppy chewed my connection cord for my camera and I was having trouble locating a new one, even from Amazon. Then I found the Eye-Fi Connect. Every thing about this product is quick and easy! You put the 4GB card in the USB card reader and it installs the hardware onto your computer, connects to your wi-fi network, you then put the 4GB card into your camera and you are ready to start taking pictures and wirelessly sending them to your computer. The whole set-up took less than 10 minutes!
I love that when I am at home taking pictures, they are automatically downloaded onto my computer. If I am away, when I come home, I just plug in the USB card reader into my laptop and turn on my camera; within minutes the pictures have transferred over. So easy! I can also easily upload the pictures onto several social networking sites through the Eye-Fi program. I highly recommend the Eye-Fi Connect memory card!
2 Stars Ok, but a battery hog
I use to be able to keep the battery in my camera and take days of shots without having to charge my Nikon Coolpix S220. Since I have put this card in, after about maybe 4 hours of taking photos and uploading, the battery is dead. I have to keep the battery on for photos to upload via wifi. I went out and bought another replaceable battery so that I could have a back up. And it doesn’t seem to matter if you are connected to a network or not. I guess it will keep looking and drain your battery. If you are going to be out and about, have not paid for the geo-tag or hotspot services, I would put in a regular card to save the batteries.
Also, I thought I was going to be able to upload to more then one site. Nope. One for photos and one for video only.
Despite all of that, for taking photos at home when I can charge a battery or for those times I want to only take one photo and upload it right away, this is great.
