What a day! I picked up my new/used car this afternoon - a 2008 Subaru Outback wagon - and spent more than 2 hours at the dealer’s with the whole process. Knowing that it would probably take a while, I was prepared with handwork: sewing the 1-1/2″ sleeve onto my SDA entry while I waited.
